Q: When do I need to arrive and till when does the retreat last?
A: The accommodation is for 7 nights which will give us 6 full days for the retreat. The exact dates will be published on the retreat page or just ask us if in doubt. On the arrival / check-in day there will be a welcome circle in the evening and check-out will be after a common breakfast on the last day.
Getting there
Q: How do I get there?
A: Bali - The international airport of Bali is Ngurah Rai International Airport (IATA: DPS - more known as Denpasar International Airport). It is directly frequented by major airlines from Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, UAE or Jakarta. It is also well connected via budget airlines like Air Asia. As we will organize airport pickup at DPS kindly let us know your flight details so that we can arrange your pickup.
Ireland - The closest international airport is Dublin Airport (DUB) which is well connected within Europe.
Visa
Q: Do I need to get a visa?
A: Bali is part of the Republic of Indonesia and there is a visa exemption (for tourism) for more than 160 countries. The latest list can be seen on the official immigration website of Indonesia: http://www.imigrasi.go.id
If you hold a passport from one of the visa exempted countries you just need a passport valid for another 6 months with one empty page and a return ticket to enter Indonesia for 30 days. There are no charges at immigration. If you hold a passport from a country which is not exempted, kindly contact us and we will support you with your visa process.
Mount Agung
Q: How is the current volcanic activity of Mount Agung in Bali impacting the retreat?
A: The retreat will be conducted in an area which is in a safe distance from the volcano. Ash could nevertheless have impact on air quality and flight operations.
Vaccinations
Q: Do I require any special vaccinations for Bali?
A: It's recommended to have a vaccination to cover against Hepatitis A. A yellow fever vaccination is required if you are coming from a yellow fever endemic area.
Medication / Drugs
Q: Can I bring my prescribed drugs or marijuana / cannabis?
A: We would recommend to bring only the required amount of prescribed drugs for your own consumption in order to avoid any troubles with customs. For drugs which require a doctor's proscription kindly bring the prescription as proof as well. In regards to marijuana or cannabis (even prescribed for medical reasons) you must not bring them with you in any case. Indonesia has very strict laws in regards to recreational drugs and possession will lead to imprisonment and trafficking even to the death penalty. Q: I have an allergy against xyz - what should I do?
A: Please inform us about your allergies beforehand so that we can consider this in our menu preparation. We will also inform you what you have to consider with the local foods regarding your allergies.
Packing
Q: What do I have to bring?
A: Besides yourself just some light comfortable cloths. It's a tropical place and temperatures will be around 30 degrees Celsius.

Q: Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
A: No, yoga mat will be provided. But you can bring your own if you prefer.

Q: I'm a Yoga beginner - is this an issue?
A: No, we will cater for all levels of yoga skills.
Language
Q: In which language will the retreat be conducted?
A: In English.
Guest
Q: Can I bring a guest (e.g. partner) who will not participate in the retreat to stay with me during the retreat?
A: No, we believe that it would bring too much distraction for the participant.
Alternative
Q: I would love to participate but I have a scheduling conflict this time. Will there be another retreat?
A: Yes, we are already looking into planning the next retreat and gather also input for the timing. If you are interested kindly use the reservation form to let us know your preferred times and availability so that we can consider your input in our planning.
